Diwali Day

The children of Foundation stage have been having fun learning about Diwali and what it represents. They have been doing things such as dressing up in some colourful clothes in their playground and dancing to the Diwali festival music. Using the claves they tapped out the rhythm from the music to make tasteful tunes.  They made fun, funky Diwali cards with their inspiring imagination for family and friends- they looked amazing!
Rebecca said: “I enjoyed making the Diwali cards they were great fun and we were drawing around our hands on them.”
That was one of the many quotes we were given from the children of Foundation Stage -  we wish you could see all of them and the special cards! We wish you a happy Diwali if you celebrate it and even if you don’t enjoy the wonderful food and the fantastic fireworks with their amazing colours.
