Chaotic Christmas

Wow! Shiny stars, beautiful handmade baubles, twinkling tinsel and a big, bright star at the top. Have you guessed what the Foundation stage need these things for? Yes, a Christmas tree! The children have decorated a Christmas tree to go in their play area in Miss Burn’s room. When we first went in we saw this twinkling tree in the corner of our eyes. We were determined to find out what it was!

Last week we told you that the Foundation stage had been busy decorating card trees and because they were so good they have been displayed in the hall for the whole school to see! They decorated them with colourful paints like we told you before. They made- on their pattern – some sparkly pictures made out of Christmas decorations such as super stars, beautiful beads, bright baubles and perfect presents- fantastic!

The Foundation stage is really ever so clever because they made some paper chains- we know that we wouldn’t be able to make them as awesome as theirs! They had sparkly snowflakes that hung from the ceiling in their reading area. On each snowflake there was a Christmas related word on it.
I hope you will enjoy the article and have seen our slide show!
