This week in nursery, the children have been very busy
since it is: world book day, beginning of Spring and pancake day!
On
Thursday 6th March, it is World Book Day. The Roving Book Shop
Company is generously coming in to share their interest in books with us. They
will be selling books to all the children and teachers (including nursery).
This year the books are bigger, better and more interesting than ever!
“We select what we consider to be the
finest children’s books from all over the world and bring them for you to see.
We rely on your good faith not to take our specialist knowledge and use it to
buy the books elsewhere.”
Also
in nursery the children are celebrating the beginning of Spring since as it is
Spring now (even though it might not feel like it!). They have some games to do
with Spring as well such as a flower bed in which the children put all the
flowers.
They
have also been celebrating Pancake Day. They could barely wait for their
serving of the pancakes and some even had seconds! They enjoyed eating their
pancakes with freshly squeezed orange juice and caster sugar.
All
in all, it was a very fun – but busy- week in nursery and they can’t wait for
the relaxing weekend.
