A Foreign Feast!

This week in Nursery, the children have been eating foods from around the world:

·          Donuts (USA)

·          Popadoms (India)

·          Bruschetta (Italy)

·          Pretzels (Austria)

·          German Sausages (Germany)

·           Pana-chocolate (France)

·          Peppers – yellow and green – (All around the world)

·          Brioche (France)

·          German sweet bread (Germany)

·          Indian Biscuits (India)

·          Puri (India)

·          Mango Chutney (All around the world)

·          Swiss Roll (Central Europe)

·          Spicy Tortilla chips (Mexico)

·          Pizza (America)

The favourites were donuts and pretzels but the rest of the foods were enjoyed too. They each had a morsel of pizza (approx. 5cm x 2.5cm) base to decorate with the toppings of their choice.

They were also singing their favourite nursery rhymes and dancing to them. The songs were: If You’re Happy And You Know It, Heads Shoulders Knees and Toes and I’m a Little Teapot (my personal favourite).

Overall, it was a busy week in nursery, please leave some comments.
