Busy days in the Foundation stage

These last few days in the Foundation stage have been busier than normal. Let’s get cracking:
You know the foundation stage as being well organised, creative and fun but you are in for a surprise because the children have been getting creative, creating a nativity play for the whole school to enjoy. What messy things have the children been doing you say? Well you are just about to find out.
Designing their own costumes and wearing them are only a few examples of their play.
Other than creating a play they have been messing about with the cogs-colourful building blocks. They have made chocolate factories, jack in the boxes and zoos out of these colourful cogs.
Another one of their creative activities is painting pretty patterns with fun foam sponges that are cut into super shapes. Another activity place is the puzzle table; every time we visit there is always something new. This time we visited there was a puzzle of lovely snakes.
Also they have been getting into the Christmassy spirit by creating a calendar in the shape of Santa. With a sweet in each pocket on the number of the day we are on - With numbers up to 24!
