Chinese New Year in the Nursery

The children in the nursery have had a lot of fun learning about Chinese New Year. They’ve been very taking up all the Chinese traditions. They made daunting Chinese dragons out of a pen, paper, straws and imagination! Now they have a dragon-infested classroom. To keep the theme they have also been learning how to use chopsticks with little rubber balls (they’ve even been eating Chinese noodles!). As well as this, there have been three children participating in ‘show and tell’ this week. They brought some intriguing items which they wanted to share with everyone.

Overall, they have had an exhilarating week!
